I don't know for sure yet if this is the case, but I have narrowed it down a bit for a big load order and it seems like whatever changes were made to fiends in this mod is causing SCS to refuse to install the Improved Fiends and Celestials component.
This mod does not change anything related to any fiends. This is a story mod that doesn't even use any existing demons / fiends / celestials - I don't think I can remember any such file used.

Sorry, I'm having a tough time figuring out what is causing this component to fail, and this hasn't turned out to be the culprit after a couple more hours of testing. I am now thinking Spell Revisions combined with something else. If not, I'm at a loss.
