I was just playing the Malduf the ogre quest, in immesvale with Fhaugy ,  During  the first talk with the major after getting the  quest  from Malduf.  Fhaugy  vanishes from my party is part of the mod ?  also how do get rid of the vines in the damp cave  I have the axe from the cabin but nothing seems to happens when I click  on the action point.

I found out about the Mayor bug today thanks to another player. It's fixed now. To handle it locally, get Fhaugy out the Mayor's house for that one talk. It should work You may also try silencing or stunning him. Let me know if that solved the problem

also how do get rid of the vines in the damp cave  I have the axe from the cabin but nothing seems to happens when I click on the action point.

You need two items Special acid, to weaken the vines and the sickle. The bottle with this special acid is also somewhere in the village Once you have both these items, click on the vines.
