Hi,

First, I want to say again I am absolutely loving your mods. Thanks for the tremendous amount of work they must have taken. In my opinion, they improve the experience 100%. I have all your new IWD area/quest mods installed, as well as the Findit item mod. The one other mod I am also playing with is the IWD NPC Project mod. I am not using any of your npcs this run since, as you know I'm sure, that mod adds a full party of 5 npcs to play along with one's own main character.
I touched briefly in another thread about the cost of a Restoration scrolls in Kuldahar. I wanted to relate the cost of other healing available that I am seeing presently in Kuldhar with these mods installed. My party currently has a reputation of 16.

In the Temple in Kuldahar, I am seeing the cost to have the priest Raise Dead is 3700. The cost for a Resurrection by the priest is 5550.
One can purchase a scroll of Raise Dead there for 485. One can purchase a scroll of Resurrection for 14550.
A scroll of Restoration can be purchased there for 727. A scroll of Healing costs 4850.

You probably know already where I am going with this. It seems logical to me that healing etc. by a priest at a Temple, should cost less than buying a scroll for the same type of healing from the same Temple. As noted, currently buying a scroll for Raise Dead is only about15% of the cost of having the priest perform it. I'm almost wondering if this is a typo?
If it is a typo, am I correct that it can be corrected in one place without having to do it in each translation?
And one other thing if I may (isn't there always), related to my other thread. Any chance a scroll of Lesser Restoration can be added to the Kuldahar Temple for purchase, or perhaps make Restoration available for the Preist to perform at lesser cost?

Thanks again so much!

Dear Lava, I need your help for translation issues about your Kuldahar mod :
- Since the v1.3, have you added possibly some new lines in the English versions what appears in the versions 2.0 to 2.4 ? And if it's the case, which are present ?
- Is it possible from you to send me, if you haven't it erased on your computer and if you could, the old version 1.3 (erased sadly on my PC) of your mod by email at this address :
deleted
I'm trying to verify if the English and the French versions of the Kuldahar mod are correct , in order to see once for all if there are changes here and there.
Thank you by advance, your help would be welcomed.

Most of these quests, I have no idea.

Fishing lure? I thought maybe the Cosmic Ambergris? Doesn't work.

Candle? No idea. What I'd really like to get for that lady is a broom.

Girl can't climb. No idea.

Bartender needs a charming employee. I waited until after Luremaster to give him the tome of Charisma. He didn't want it! (There were no dialogue options for his quest at this point either, so I thought he forgot.) After rereading the journal it said "there must be something in Kuldahar..." and I realized what to do..

And I'm not stealing Oswald's telescope for some bum. I thought maybe there would be one in Severed Hand, but didn't see anything.

Hello.
This is my first post here.
Thank you for this mod. Kuldahar was too poor for the main town. I have just installed this, and i can tell only few things.
About installation:
Weidu installer don,t run - not correct win32 application. I've just swapped and renamed installer file from InnBB
Problem during instalation - incorrect line 8 in file L#KUEHA1.baf. Bad command "CreateCreatureEffect" - edited, changed to "CreateCreature" and deleted redundant " " chars.
(i dont know if i did right, but mod installed succesfuly)
In the game:
MOD start's properly, only if you never been in kuldahar before. when i load save when i'm back from HOW, map is changed, but new places weren't avaiable, new NPC's was missing.
When i load save before my first visit, and enter to town, mod works fine.
My remark:
New areas are very good. but one place is missing: Upper Kuldahar. Bartender mention it. It will be nice to go there, even if there will be only houses and NPC's.

Once again, thank You for this (and the others) mod for IWD. I've played when it was first released and ihis is rerurn to my days of young.
(sorry if i make mistakes somewhere - my english isn't perfect.)

Kuldahar has its past and future. It also has its people. This mod's aim is to introduce the stories that are bound with this town and those that live in it. The Rediscovery of Kuldahar adds new quests, encounters, and shops. These are filled not only with new characters, but new areas that present new parts of the town.
Furthermore, the mod includes significant changes to existing files (are, tis, wed, et cetera) and replaces original resources with new ones, the mod is not compatible with other mods that replace those files. While I usually take the approach of updating the area files, this time it's greater than that. It's more than an update of few talks. As an example: the original Kuldahar does not have a night map - this mod adds such maps/graphic, including a night version of the tileset so the time of day could be reflected with something more than absence/presence of the townspeople in front of their homes.
Visit Kuldahar again, see all the changes, take new quests, and enjoy your stay under the canopy of the Great Oak.
