A seed of idea for you… - Prof Errata - 05-21-2026
Dear Lava, I have an idea of mod for you : "The Eternal Feminity of Edwin Odeisseron" for BG2EE… What I have in mind is a mod which make that Edwin stays a woman all along the BG2 saga, until the final epilogue in ToB. First, this mod suppresses the coming of Degardan, and after adds a few encounters and above all brand new dialogs with the officials BG2/BG2EE NPCs, with the intention for the player to have a good laugh at each exchange. Note that mod would be incompatible with the Edwin Romance mod (at my opinion the best romance ever written for BG2) and one of the Romantic Encouters exchange (14. Edwin's Softer Side), if these 2 mods are detected they wouldn’t be installed of course.
What do you think of that ? I hope perhaps to have given few ideas, and giving your inspiration that something would come to fruition. Thank you by advance.
PS: but how you have the free time in order to write all your excellent mods ? I would be unable to create all you have written until now…

Hi! While I do see value in the idea, it's not something I myself would like to write. Truth be told, I don't really like Edwin as a character. It's not that I never play with him, but... I don't think I find him amusing? And I think he was supposed to be amusing? I don't know.
The most important factor that makes me write and finish many of these mods is that, because I come up with them, I ponder about the possibilities, and with time, they become important enough to make them real. But that's also why I mostly work on my own ideas, and I rarely work with others
