Wilson has no ToB override script & has no sleep script [Not an issue] - zelazko - 04-28-2023 After inspecting dos installation log output I discovered those two things. Are they serious? Mod SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED according to the weidu. RE: Wilson has no ToB override script & has no sleep script. False positive? - Lava - 04-28-2023 The vanilla Wilson does not have ToB script. It looks like because Beamdog considered him more like an easter egg, he had less interactions, almost zero talks, and he was lacking that script. So my mod creates a proper ToB script and make his cre file use them instead, rather than let him continue with the SoA script. Not just because I felt like it, but because I also give him some friendship talks for ToB and a mini-quest. I think many played with the mod on EET, so I believe he's safe to use. RE: Wilson has no ToB override script & has no sleep script. False positive? - zelazko - 04-28-2023 Maybe instead of Quote:Wilson has no ToB override script? That must be changed! change the message to: Quote:Wilson has no ToB override script by default. Assigning a new ToB script. Or something similar. Quote:That must be changed! The above sounds like a command a user is compelled to take or at least how I felt. RE: Wilson has no ToB override script & has no sleep script [Not an issue] - Lava - 04-28-2023 You yourself quoted you got info "SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED". The mod has been available for 7 years now and there were no concerns regarding that note. Right after the note the appending starts so it's rather clear the mod is fixing that, and it's just informing players that "this cannot be, it can't be left like that and Wilson deserves proper scripts". Thinking the mod is ordering players to change something manually while also informing them that the installation proceeds and that everything was installed successfully is a truly unique interpretation. I don't think I'll be changing that, at least not anytime soon. Anyway, just worry not and enjoy the mod. I bet that if anyone ever have any doubts they will have this thread to calm them down. |
